Project timeline

Housing Festival began in Bristol in 2018 with a simple goal: spark a real conversation about what housing could look like, and then actually do something about it. Facing a housing crisis, a climate emergency, and a construction skills shortage, we brought together public, private, and community partners to test innovative ideas and find solutions that could be implemented now. What followed was an iterative journey. Each project surfaced new challenges, opened new doors, and shaped the next idea. All our projects represent wider collaborations with multiple partners.
